Rebuild — Beta Terms of Use
Version 1.1 (beta) · Last updated: [go-live date].
1. Who we are
Rebuild is operated by Phishermans Ltd, registered in England & Wales (Company No. 15312330), registered office 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London W1W 5PF (“we”, “us”). Contact: info@managed-services.co.uk. By creating an account or using Rebuild you agree to these terms.
2. Rebuild is a beta test
Rebuild is provided free of charge as a public beta — a test version we are still building. Features may be incomplete, change, break or be withdrawn at any time. We may suspend or close the beta, or your access to it, at any time and without notice.
3. What Rebuild is — and isn’t
Rebuild provides independent estimation and planning tools and general information. It is not affiliated with any UK government body. Nothing on Rebuild is financial, legal or benefits advice, and no figure Rebuild produces is an official decision. Universal Credit awards are decided by the DWP; child maintenance is determined by the CMS; our figures are estimates from the information you enter and may differ from official outcomes. You must not rely on Rebuild’s outputs in making decisions — check official sources, and where it matters, take advice from an appropriate adviser or free services such as MoneyHelper or Citizens Advice.
4. Who can use the beta
You must be 18 or over and resident in the UK. The beta is for your personal, non-commercial use.
5. Your account
Keep your sign-in secure and your email and mobile number current. You are responsible for activity on your account. You may close your account at any time in Settings.
6. Acceptable use
You must not: misuse, probe or disrupt the service; attempt unauthorised access; scrape or bulk-extract content; use the service unlawfully; or present Rebuild outputs as official determinations of any government body.
7. Feedback
We may ask for, and you may send, feedback. You give us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use feedback to develop and improve our services, with no obligation or payment. Don’t include other people’s personal details or anything confidential in feedback.
8. Intellectual property
Rebuild’s content, design and code are owned by or licensed to us. You may use the service as intended; all other rights are reserved. Public-sector information is reproduced where applicable under the Open Government Licence.
9. Service standard and liability
Rebuild is provided “as is” and “as available”, free of charge, as a test. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude warranties and we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on estimates or other outputs, unavailability, or data loss during the beta (export your data if it matters to you). Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded — and nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer. Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with the beta is limited to £100.
10. End of the beta
When the beta ends we will give you at least 14 days’ notice by email, provide a way to export your saved estimates, and then delete remaining beta data or — if a live service follows — offer to move your data to it under terms we’ll show you first. We will never move your data to a paid service without your agreement.
11. Changes
We may update these terms as the beta evolves; material changes will be notified in-product or by email, and continued use after notice is acceptance. The current version always lives at this page.
12. Law and courts
These terms and any dispute arising from them or the beta (including non-contractual disputes) are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction — except that if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your home courts.
